International Professional Certificate in Education Leadership (iPCertEL)

This Masters level, internationally recognised leadership qualification is a Liverpool Hope University award delivered in partnership with TELLAL, with a credit bearing of 60 QCF (UK) credits. This programme is designed to give school leaders the opportunity to gain a leadership qualification while extending their knowledge, skills and application when leading themselves and others. This programme aims to develop the leader to be critically and constructively self-aware, self-reflective and self-directed. Over the course of two modules, participants learn how to identify and develop their own strengths and development areas (module 1), which in turn will provide them with the capability and agency to develop others (module 2). Key focus areas of this programme include: whole school dynamics and culture; utilisation of distributed leadership; development of a learning organisation’s succession planning; and talent management.

Exit Award

Professional Certificate (iPCert) in Education Leadership**

** Upon successful completion of the programme, you will exit with an internationally recognised UK Post Graduate Certificate (iPGCert) in Education Leadership, validated by Liverpool Hope University.

Eligibility requirements for the programme

Undergraduate degree or equivalent

English proficiency (e.g. IELTS minimum overall Level 6.5 with a minimum 6 in all sub-categories)
