Teach Up – iPgCPP

A qualification enhancement teacher training route for already qualified overseas teachers

Qualification awarded

This UAE Level 7/UK Level 6 qualification is a dual award:

  • International Professional Certificate in Professional Practice (iPgCPP) awarded by TELLAL Institute and a leading UK higher education institution

The iPgCPP is an approved qualification for Teacher Competence (leading to teacher approval by KHDA and ADEK).

This School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) route allows qualified teachers to enhance their existing educational qualifications with an internationally recognised award. The programme is designed for qualified teachers (often those who have qualified overseas) who wish to upgrade their teaching qualifications to an internationally portable award. It is also appropriate for experienced, unqualified teachers with at least 3 years experience rated as “good” or “better” against the UAE National Standards, and aspiring for an international teaching qualification.
