Teacher Training

Teach Best – iPGCTP and iPgCTP

Initial teacher training routes leading to internationally recognised teaching qualifications

These two TELLAL Teach Best programmes give trainees the opportunity to qualify with internationally recognised qualifications. They differ in qualification levels, and candidates can choose between an academic or applied qualification. Not sure which route is right for you? Simply, contact us and one of our advisors will talk you through your available options.

As School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programmes, trainees on both international routes benefit from working within the school environment for 120 days of their training. All trainees are assigned a mentor, in addition to the on-placement support from teaching peers and practitioners. As part of both programmes, trainee teachers are prepared for the TELS Competence to Teach assessments, which is required for teaching in the UAE.

Exceptional candidates, demonstrating high quality experience, could be accepted onto a salaried route assuming whole class responsibilities from day one, following an immersive four-week experience linking theory and practice.

Note: Teacher trainees wishing to graduate with a nationally recognised qualification, rather than an internationally recognised qualification, can opt for the Teach Best – ATP route.
