With obesity levels amongst children in the UAE soaring, it is more important than ever before to develop healthy active routines in young children to ensure wellbeing for life. When was the last time the children in your class got out of breath? It’s a question Ofsted inspectors posed at a recent consultation event in London. We must get our children moving to promote lifelong wellbeing and lay a solid foundation for core stability, bilateral co-ordination, gross motor development and visual tracking which will support children in all aspects of learning and development later in their early learning journey…even reading and writing!

Learning Objectives:

1.     Understand the links between physical and cognitive development in children aged 0-5 years

2.     Know strategies and activities to promote eurythmics and incorporate this into all areas of learning

Exit Certification: TELLAL Certificate of Attendance
