Learning how to use technology is a necessary life skill and something we must equip young children with. Nowadays, both business and personal life takes place online. Children must learn how to use keyboards, touchscreens and other digital tools.

But how can we integrate technology into young children’s lives in a developmentally appropriate way? This session explores how to make technology integration meaningful to young children by viewing technology as a tool. From using an interactive board to physically interact with academic content to following multi-step instructions to code a robot, technology can be used to reinforce all areas of learning including critical social emotional skills.

1.     Understand the benefits of technology integration in the early years classroom

2.     LO2 Know methods and strategies to integrate technology across all areas of learning and development
