Description and Learning Objectives:
The course focuses on practical drama techniques and activities for use in the language classroom. Topics included drama games, mime, simple classroom drama ideas, statue theatre, role-play, simulation, improvisation, working with sketches, creating dialogue, devising scenes, forum theatre, readers’ theatre, rehearsing sketches, storytelling techniques, process drama and performing poems.
Teachers will be able to apply techniques and use methods which they can use it in their classroom the second day.
Teachers will be able to use and create their own techniques suitable to their learners’ level and context
